The City of Opelousas will once again welcome WindSync, a Houston-based chamber quintet, as the music group returns to the area for three days of community activities centered around placemaking. During their stay, WindSync will lead interactive school sessions with area youth; they will also collaborate with spoken word artist PoeticSoul for community workshops of music & poetry. The group will give pop-up performances and will collaborate with Soul Express Brass Band for an old-fashioned front porch jam!
